Have you ever found an old emotion, memory or familiar response returning after you felt you’d already explored it and dealt with it?

Our experiences can often reveal themselves in various layers. So, we come to each layer with the awareness, emotional capacity and inner resources that we have available to us at the time.

As we develop, our perspective changes. We’re able to see connections that were previously outside our awareness and recognise how an earlier experience may still be shaping and influencing our expectations, choices or emotional responses in the present moment.

When that experience comes up again, we deal with it as the person we are now, with all the understanding and a wider range of resources at our fingertips.

Instead of asking, “Why is this coming back?”, we might now ask:

“What is this trying to teach me?”

That tiny change in mental orientation can bring curiosity and compassion to something we may previously have felt frustration or annoyance for.

How is The Abundant Self different?

If you’re wondering how The Abundant Self differs from therapy, coaching and other personal development programmes, I’ve published a detailed comparison explaining the differences, costs and who each approach may suit.

The best way to experience the comparison article approach for yourself is to join my free live webinar on Tuesday 8 September at 6.45 p.m. BST.

Phil’s experience of The Abundant Self

Phil joined The Abundant Self partly because he felt the programme could offer something useful for the clients that he supports.

But during Phase 1, the process became personally significant. An experience he believed he’d already addressed came back up in his awareness, and he realised that it hadn’t been fully dealt with.

In this short video, Phil shares why he found that first phase “absolutely essential”.

Explore The Abundant Self

This layered approach to personal transformation is one of the areas I’ll explore during my free live webinar for The Abundant Self.

We’ll look at how established patterns develop, how they continue to influence our lives and what can help our awareness, emotional responses, behaviour and developing identity move in the same direction.

The webinar will also include a live empowerment created to support the process. This part of the event will be available only to those attending live.
