A Clean Slate and a Bit of Breathing Space

Losing my Facebook and Instagram accounts over a month ago was honestly a massive relief. I didn’t miss them in the slightest. Suddenly, no pressure to post. No endless scrolling and wasting time. No noise.

It felt good – it felt amazing in fact. I had space to think. I got more done. Life was just... clearer and I read a lot more! Life was happening out there in the world, not through the screen of my phone.

I didn’t rush to rebuild the accounts because I didn’t want to – I was enjoying not having them a lot! But I’ve now set them back up, reluctantly, I have to say, but mainly because some people rely on them to stay connected. That’s fine. They’re there. But I’m not planning to live on them.

This is a fresh start. Not just with social media, but with everything. The new website is up. The Abundant Self Workbook is ready. And I’ve got more in the pipeline.

Right now, I’m keeping things focused. No distractions. Just creating what matters and staying as offline as I can and living life out there where life is actually happening: in the real world.

Insight: Social media shouldn’t run your life. And if you’ve ever stepped away from it for a while, you’ll know exactly what I mean.

Moving house, moving country
I’m in the middle of packing up and getting ready to leave the UK again. I’ll share more once I’m settled but the thought of another winter in the UK… no, not this time! The sun is beckoning.
